We Are Hiring Zonal Sales Supervisor In Rajkot.

 

Job Title:

Zonal Sales Supervisor – FMCG (Snacks)

 

Reports To:

Sales Lead / Regional Sales Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision & Performance Management:

    • Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Representatives in the assigned zone.

    • Drive achievement of zonal sales targets through field support and structured performance tracking.

    • Conduct regular joint market visits to coach team members and assess territory execution.

  • Market Strategy & Execution:

    • Contribute to the design and execution of zonal sales plans, promotions, and trade engagement activities.

    • Assist in territory planning, beat design, and channel expansion.

  • Sales Process Adherence:

    • Ensure compliance with company processes including CRM usage, order booking, reporting, and distributor engagement.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Consolidate sales performance data, competitor insights, and customer feedback across the zone.

    • Submit timely reports and provide actionable insights to the Sales Lead.

  • Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Management:

    • Address escalated issues from semi-wholesalers, field teams, or logistics partners.

    • Serve as a point of contact for coordination between the sales team and other internal departments.

  • Team Development & Culture:

    • Foster a positive, motivated, and performance-driven team culture.

    • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or coaching interventions.

Candidate Profile:

Type of Candidate:

  • Strong leader and team motivator with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Deep understanding of FMCG sales and distribution, especially in general trade and wholesale channels.

  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret sales data and act on insights.

  • Organized, process-driven, and passionate about field execution.

Experience:

  • 4–6 years of total sales experience in FMCG or related industries.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing a sales team or supervising a field force.

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving distribution KPIs.

  • Experience in snacks or impulse purchase categories is a strong advantage.

Education:

  • Graduate required; MBA or post-graduate in Sales/Marketing preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be based within the assigned zone in Gujarat.

  • Willing to travel extensively within the zone (up to 80% field work).
