Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Process Equipment

Location: [Ahmedabad]
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Sales Head / General Manager – Sales

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for process equipment sales

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions

  • Prepare and deliver effective technical presentations and product demonstrations

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to close sales successfully

  • Provide technical guidance to customers regarding equipment specifications and applications

  • Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams for client-specific solutions

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in target industries

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • 3–7 years of experience in sales of process equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, vessels, and storage tanks

  • Proven experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors

  • Experience in technical sales and understanding of industrial processing equipment

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of process equipment (e.g., reactors, centrifuges, storage tanks)

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams

  • Goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
