Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work accurately and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Process payroll and manage tax filings as needed

• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records

• Recommend improvements in financial systems and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP)

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Preferred:

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA)

• Experience with tax preparation and filing
