Job Title: Senior Mortgage Executive

 

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mortgage Executive with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in the Australian mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.


Key Responsibilities:


• Expert Mortgage Advice:
Provide expert advice on a range of mortgage products, ensuring clients understand their options and are well-informed to make decisions.
• Client Financial Assessments:
Assess clients’ financial situations thoroughly and recommend suitable mortgage solutions based on their needs and eligibility.
• End-to-End Loan Application Management:
Manage the complete loan application process from start to finish, ensuring all steps are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Liaison with Stakeholders:
Act as the key point of contact between lenders, real estate agents, and clients, facilitating smooth transactions and effective communication throughout the process.
• Valuations and Pricing:
Order valuations and manage the pricing process, ensuring accuracy in loan-to-value ratios and suitability of loan amounts.
• Income & Serviceability Calculations:
Conduct accurate income calculations for self-employed individuals and PAYG employees. Evaluate the client's capacity to service debt and recommend appropriate solutions.
• SMSF & Trust Deals Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) and trust deals, providing tailored advice to clients with complex financial structures.
• Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all activities and loan applications comply with NCCP (National Consumer Credit Protection) guidelines, maintaining responsible lending practices and protecting clients' best interests.
• Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Utiliz networking, referrals, and other business development strategies to foster long-term relationships.
• Market Knowledge & Professional Development:
Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends, lending policies, and industry regulations. Continuously develop professional knowledge to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Document Preparation and Presentations:
Prepare and present comprehensive financial documents and proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process.


Key Skills & Qualifications:


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Australian mortgage industry, with a
strong understanding of local mortgage products and market trends.
• CRM Expertise:
Proficient in using CRM systems such as MyCRM, Sale Trekkers, and Infynity for managing
client data, loan applications, and workflows.
• Serviceability Assessments:Strong skills in conducting serviceability assessments and income calculations for both self-
employed and PAYG clients.

• Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting professional emails to clients,
BDMs, and other stakeholders, as well as maintaining effective communication with lenders.
• Expertise in SMSF & Trust Deals:
A solid understanding of Self-Managed Super Funds and trust deals, with the ability to
navigate the complexities of these financial arrangements.
• Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of NCCP guidelines and commitment to maintaining compliance with
industry regulations and responsible lending practices.
• Client-Focused Approach:
Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring client needs are
met and relationships are nurtured.
• Industry Awareness:
Awareness of current trends, regulatory changes, and industry innovations, ensuring you stay
ahead of market shifts and provide the most relevant advice.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Relevant qualifications in Mortgage Broking, Financial Services, or a related field.
• Experience with loan origination systems and mortgage brokerage software.
• Existing relationships with lenders and industry professionals.
