Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our Home Loans team. The role involves achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with sources and customers, and maintaining sales efficiency in the assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Area/Geography Mapping
- Conduct lane-to-lane mapping of assigned areas at regular intervals.
- Identify and establish new sources within the allocated geography.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager during team meetings.
2. Source Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sources in the assigned area.
- Ensure the expected Loan Sanction Ratio (LSR), Source Loan Ratio (SLR), and Market Share (MS).
3. Reports Maintenance
- Maintain detailed sales and activity reports in the prescribed format.
- Keep an updated daily diary of activities and sales data.
4. Channel Partner Recruitment
- Identify and recruit potential channel partners within the norms and guidelines.
- Empanel Business Sourcing Agents (BSAs) as per the company process.
5. Team Huddle Participation
- Attend daily team huddles and share updates and data in the required format.
6. Customer Relationship Management
- Enhance customer experience by providing timely services and addressing concerns.
- Understand customer needs and sell relevant home loan products.
- Ensure accurate KYC, legal, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of the geography and customer needs.
- Familiarity with KYC norms, credit documentation, and loan eligibility criteria.
- Knowledge of Home Loan products and market competition.
Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining sales records and diaries.
- Ability to identify potential channel partners and maintain compliance.
- Excellent sales and objection-handling skills.
Functional Competencies:
- Use of tools and resources for geography mapping and customer management.
- Ability to analyse credit documents and derive eligibility.
- Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.

- Self-motivated, target-oriented individual.
- Willing to engage in fieldwork and manage relationships at multiple levels.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
